Since the beginning of the pandemic, RM Benefits of Maryland, Inc. has been utilizing a wide spectrum of technology and solutions to protect our clients, while still meeting their insurance needs.
The nature of our business is that we work with a lot of people who have chronic health conditions, and other vulnerable populations, on a day to day basis. Because of this we have decided that for the foreseeable future we will continue to operate remotely. Here are just some of the tools we are using to serve our clients safely.
WebEx Meetings – Secure, private, face to face meetings with your brokers. No uninvited guests or “Zoom-bombing” here. If you would like someone to join our meeting, just get us their email address so we can invite them.
This level of privacy is critical because during our meetings all of the participants can look at our screens as we are working with you. You literally see what we are seeing, just like if you were in our office with us.
Electronic Signatures – Some insurance carriers have secure electronic applications and signature platforms, but others still rely on paper forms. We have an easy solution to this. We have invested in secure software so we can take signatures online.
Phone Calls – Ok, it is a bit old fashioned. But conversations are a major part of relationships, and insurance. If you are uncomfortable with technology, we can absolutely take care of things over the phone.
Priority Mail – Sometimes, yes, we still need to mail things. When we do we rely on USPS Priority Mail with tracking. We know exactly where your paperwork is, and when it arrives.
If you need to send things back to us or directly to a carrier for processing, we include another pre-paid and addressed Priority Mail envelope in your package.
